Got 34/50 unmoderated which is a D or C depending upon grade boundaries according to my teacher.

I'm not overly concerned about the final result of the AS - I'm 100x more confident on the exams than I was for the ISA and I should be fine getting an A providing I get a decent A in both exams.

However, I am concerned about applying for Uni. As I understand it you're supposed to declare the grades you got in individual units on your application, and I'm worried about this unit affecting my chances.

Am I right to be concerned or do Unis not really take into account Unit grades, only overall grades?

    Thanks!

It's not a requirement to put down module grades, but either way the universities aren't all that fussed.

Depends what you apply for; I got 34 UMS in my physics ISA last year and a D overall (:/) but I still managed to get offers for Chemistry at some good universities.

I retook it this year as I only needed 4 UMS to get my overall grade to a C, so in my UCAS form the grade isn't there for the specific unit (it's blank because I'm resitting it) but the overall grade is there.

Unless you apply for physics I highly doubt this will affect you. In fact I applied for Chemistry and I got an E in the ISA for that. And I have firmed Bath and insured Warwick, pretty good universities
