So I'm sitting the exam friday, yet my teacher hasn't shown any form of example essays, we've only written one in class and have been given next to no advice. Any help?

I'm totally on the same page! I cannot find any relevant information online and my teacher did not show us any example essays and she did not even mark the one essay I wrote.

What I've heard is that we have to refer to how the 'audience' (of the play) may perceive things and also use stage directions to convey the point you are making. Also, refer to the setting and how the play draws on historical info...basically keep stuffing in contextual info about Kristallnacht, anti-Semitism, how Sylvia's paralysis is a symbol of America's neutrality regarding the atrocities in Germany (they would not expand the quota for Jewish immigrants) etc etc.

Hope that kind of helps, just know you're not alone in feeling unprepared ! Good luck!
