    Hello,
I'm reaching the end of my first year and have just found out I'll be getting £500 less next year for my maintenance loan. The only thing that's since last year's application is that my Mum's 'living with partner' status has been changed to 'married'. Is there any reason I'm getting less money next year? Is there any way I could appeal to get more?

    Hi there.

The only way your funding would change is if the household income figure for this year is different, your living location has changed from 'elsewhere' to 'with parents' or if you are now in your final year.

To check specifically, you would need to call 0300 100 0607.

    Thanks
