    Hello!

Does CIE IGCSE's and EDEXEL IGCSE's have the same "weight"?
I did CIE math extended, and it was pretty hard this year, while someone I know did edexel, and they gave you every single formula you need to know in the exam paper... now If i get a B for e.g in CIE I dont think it's fair that it's value is less than an A in EDEXEL... since i believe i could've achieve A* in the edexel math exam...

    Regards.

How do you weigh an IGCSE?
Anyway it may depend who considers them but I don't know any educational establishment or employer who would care which examiner you took, they only care about the final grade. IGCSE results will diminish in significance as you acquire higher level qualifications.

Oh, I see, in that case its probably proportional to the difficulty, so it sounds fair, thanks.

Thanks. Yes I know that IGCSE won't matter that much later on, after A levels, but I still found it a bit unfair.

They both should be weighted equally.
