Sigh, are you just scared by the statistics?

I wanted to apply for Economics and Economic History because I thought I pretty much couldn't handle 100%. Then I realised the LSE gave you outside options, so hurrah! Thought pure Economics there is pretty much hit and miss applications.. :frown:

yep exactly, i cant handle all the statistics, ill go pretty crazy. Id rather not go mad and survive a course i can manage. So are you applying for LSE?

you can take management together with Engineering in the 2nd year at Imperial or something right?

At Oxford there is an Engineering, Economics and Managment course.

I know, unfortunately I decided on engineering a bit too late.

Hmm A level stats sucks. But then GCSE maths sucked, so maybe A level stats will be fun. I disliked maths at GCSE

Is oxford that bad?

I wouldn't say it's bad, yes there's many areas where major improvement is required, but it's still one of the top 15 in the country. And the fact Economics isn't offeres as a single honours, means that it dosen't have that great an effect.

Easy = boring. Like when they revise over topics you already get three times over.
