I currently do maths and further maths at AS level.

    This year I will have done: C1, C2, C3, FP1, S1 and M1.

Next Year I will be doing : C4, S2, M2 and FP2. I get to choose two other modules. Just wondering which two modules I should be choosing if I want to study Economics at University.

I can choose about any module from whats available.

    Thanks for any help

Hmm.You made a typo.mistake,as you haven't included c4 and can't do C3 twice.I would believe core and stats modules are the best for econ.Decision would also be more useful than mechanics for econ IMO.

Yup your right! That was meant to be C4 instead.

I heard something about decision maths not being valued by universities any more, is that true/ would you know anything about that?

I didn't hear about that but I wouldn't blame them,D1 is too easy.My advice would be to do as many core and stats modules as possible.Ideally do s3 and s4 as your options if possible.

S4 will be most useful. M3 will be least useful.

Don't worry about module choice for uni applications too much. They don't really care. Just think about which modules you will enjoy most and which will be useful to you personally.

Yeah, judging from the replies I dont think M3 is on the option board, especially since I dislike mechanics.

S4 would be the most usefull for me, but tactically D1 would be the best choice since it would be much easier and help towards my final grade more. My teacher says since its only one of twelve of the modules im doing universities wont mind too much. (Further Maths)

Decision is only useful for Computer Science, go for Stats and Mech modules
