Atm I have one 27 inch as my main monitor (1920x1200) and two 23 inch on either side (1080p).

Wanting to replace my main 27" because it's nearly 7 years old now.

Anyone gone for either the new crop of 32 inch 2560x1440, 16:9 monitors or the ultrawide 3440x1440, 21:9 monitors and why?

Don't go for a 32 inch 1440p monitor as the pixel density is sacrificed greatly. Ultrawide might be a good choice but then you have to fight with application compatibility with games and videos. Otherwise the increased screen real estate is a treat. Dell makes a real nice one though all of the current 3440*1440 monitors all use the same LG panel in them apart from the Samsung one and all suffer with particularly bad backlight bleed.
