Is this the best place to get a sample of a 1000 people answering 15 or so questions?
Would it be a good idea to offer a prize of £200 towards AA or other driving school lessons to get that much?
    Any ideas?

Just do a cash prize. Specific driving school lessons would not be very useful to a lot of people, e.g. if wanting to use an independent.

    Ahh cool

Do you think I could get that big a sample, if I advertise a link on facebook?

I don't know. You may have some success emailing universities (inc your own if applicable) asking for your survey to go on an all-users email.

Not many guys/gals check their university emails and do surveys. Everything is facebook, twitter, etc. I've got a large following, just dont want bias on any decisions I make because my friends just decided to help out.

I'd imagine they would if you put the prize in the subject line...
