    Hi there,

I've almost finished my first year of a Games Design (Level 3) BTEC course, I'm starting to look at Universities but am unsure on what range of courses I can take after completing the course.

Obviously I know continuing game design is the main option but does anyone know where this field can take me.

The Games Design BTEC is part of the Media range of BTECs i.e. your qualification will be: BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma Creative Media Production (Games Design) and not the IT/Computing range, however if you have done any programming within the Games Design course you could look at: Computer Science, Computing or Software Development if you have.

alternatively you could look at something a bit more arts/design related like: Digital Media, Communications, Marketing, Product Design, Media Arts, Film and TV production etc.
