I think Hooke's Law is likely to come up.
Also they'll try and confuse us with velocity-time graphs and distance-time graphs and working out the distance

What d'you think they'll ask about hookes law?
Mine starts at half 1

Maybe the experiment and also the fact that the extension of a spring is directly proportional to the force applied providing that the limit of proportionality hasn't been reached, also they may show results and you have to identify where the limit of proportionality is

They may provide a graph, ask where the limit of proportionality is

Switch mode transformers
Can operate at high frequencies (50Hz to 200Hz)
Lighter and Smaller than transformers (which is an advantage)
Use in mobile phone chargers
Very little power used
Cheaper

Basically they work at much higher frequences (e.g. 50 kHz) so thy are much lighter and smaller than traditional transformers that work at 50 Hz mains supply. Therefore they're useful for mobile phone chargers.

Also, they use very little power when switched on but no load (e.g. phone) applied.

Hope this helps
