Hi I'm doing some practice questions for the OMAM questions in the exam on Monday, and decided to practice writing about Curley as people think he might come up in the exam. I was just wondering what anyone thought the part b question would be (linking to context and novel as a whole), because I'm struggling to think of what themes in the novel Curley represents most. Is it to do with authority, trying to prove yourself worthy etc. or is it more to do with him representing the destruction of the American Dream, as he could be seen as a partial catalyst for events that follow? If anyone can help me focus my ideas more or has any idea on what the question would be it would be greatly appreciated!

Also, how do I go about answering the part b question? How should it be structured? Thanks!
