Facial skin

I'm 19 now. When I was 16-17 my skin was perfectly clear, no problems at all. But about a year back something happened, and my skin turned into absolute rubbish. People talk about faults on their skin, My face is just one big fault. Blemishes everywhere, it's really bumpy, full of blemishes.. very uneven. I exercise, I drink water, I wash my face twice a day, Medicate with benzoyl peroxide and use moisturiser. I've tried everything.. It still isnt sorting itself out. What could the problem be? My skin is really looking terrible and I need to sort it out soon! Please help :frown:!!

Skin does naturally go rough after a while, especially on areas such as the face. What's the medication?

are you on the Pill?

I'm not on the pill. The medication is 5% Benzoyl Peroxide cream. That's the only medication I use. My skin just looks like it's been dunked in dirt for years. It looks so dirty and messed up.

There's abit of acne on my forehead, a acne scar on my left cheek and then the rest of my face is really porey.. you can almost see each individual pore and looks really dirty no matter how much I wash it.

I have kinda big pores on my nose-but I think its genetic. They arent that visible though. Still, I tried this pore shrinkage stuff from Loreal and its ok. You can also get supplements from health stores-I take one called "skin, hair and nails" and that wont hurt! Talk to the doc though-youre doing the right thing, it may be hormonal, in which case it will go away. If all else fails-concealer!
Gd Luck

ok id say its worth seeing your doctor my friend was the same she went to the doctor told them it was really bad and was making her feel down and the doctor gave her cream that cleared it up in honestly just 10 days obviously had a few normal spots but nothing near as bad as acne again
