    So, the year 11's have practically left and my year group is basically the new leaders. But it doesn't feel right. I've noticed a worrying trend. Back in Year 7, year 11's were so tall they were like 6ft as the years went by they are getting shorter. Now my year group there's about 10 people who are 6ft the rest of us are 5ft I'd say the average is 5'3.
    Were just a short year group with facial hair.

    Maybe it's because you're not in Year 11 yet

    When you come back in September you will all have sprouted like the sunflowers you were meant to be.

    I used to think that too. But I don't think it's entirely true. It differs in many school. My younger brother is currently in year 9 and is 6'1/2" I think, and many of the boys in his year group and below are also quite tall. There are a few tall girls as well.
