    Assuming you just got a C grade (180 UMS), you would need to get 300 UMS (100%) to get an A overall, however if you resit AS exams in A2 you should probably do better as you understand the content more. However, for all you know you could do a lot better. Focus on your exams then enjoy the summer, worrying can wait until closer to Results Day where you will be able to make a more informed choice.

    As the above poster said you would need 100% in your A2 courses to achieve AAA after getting CCC at AS

    on the basis that a C is 60% and an A is 80%

    60*3 = 180
    100*3 = 300

    Total = 480

    480 / 6 = 80

    which would average you 80% over the 6 courses (AS and A2), however this is based on you only just scraping the C grades with 60% its more likely that you will get 60 something thus meaning you will need slightly less that 100% in your A2's

    Without re-sitting, AAA would not be possible but A*A*A* would.

    Each of your AS levels is out of 200, 120 is a bottom C, 139 a top C
    Each of the A levels is out of 400, you need 320 for an A, so between 191-200/200 in the A2 units - but doing this would qualifiy you for an A*.
