There is no kwik save in my area. The only Kwik Save ever in my area closed down.

Tesco is actually on of the best paid supermarket jobs, except perhaps B&Q - I still haven't heard from them.

Leekey - do you go around houses causing leaks then the owners call you? or do you burn cds?

hehe, I used to work at tesco for ages before I get bored of it and quit it do do more work for my exams. It didn't quite work out that way but I still did more work than if I was still employed.

I hear kwik save is one of the worst employers!

£2.60 / hour if you are under 18.

Tesco pay £3.83 if your under 18, £4.64 if you are over. They are starting off wages!

I might be getting a job at the DSS soon, I'll see.

Leekey sells himself in the back alleys of Staffordshire to politically incorrect aged business men. That my friends, last time I checked was illegal. (Having trouble actually remembering last time I checked something like that)

And bloodhound is question marking my name Leekey as I've opposed him on other subject matters, but that's okay

I've applied to NPower who pay their part-time administrators around the region of £6.20/hr so I'm told by reliable sources. (friends that work there of course )

And Katy, I'll send a PM your way about how you can contact Leekey's escort agency.

Please don't take away my business Leekey. I've worked really hard to get a good client list and if you're going to start coming round the back alleys tempting all of them, it just wont be fair to the rest of us.

I had the most amazing job last summer. I was working in the players locker-room at the 2002 British Open in Muirfield. I got to interact with the players (Tiger Woods etc), we had to deliver their post and clean their shoes etc. The job involved 'promoting a relaxed atmosphere in which for the players to relax'.

I worked 5 hours a day for 5 days, thats 25 hours. I was paid £250 in wages, a nice £10 per hour. And that was before the tips... when the players left they left tips the smallest I noticed being £20 and the biggest tip being £100 in the form of 2 crisp £50's. When the tips were divided between the 12 people who had my job, it came to £200 each.

There were other perks to the job. I had a pass which got me passed all the security. I was allowed to the locker room where not even the press were allowed, or the players wives and children. For my lunch break, I got to eat what the golf club members ate, which was salmon, lobster, and all sorts of delicious finger foods. I also had a ticket that got me onto the golf course for the whole week, and a similar ticket for a member of the public cost £150.

Oh if only jobs like that were easier to come by...

try and get a job in a pub/bar. Pay isn't bad, get free drinks at the end of your shift (usually at closing) and you get good experience. When i'm at uni, i stand a good chance of getting a job at the student bar.

Because of contacts. I have a friend whose family are very highly respected in East Lothian. She offered me use of her house which was in Gullane, only 20 minutes walk from Muirfield and told me how to apply for the job. She told me to make clear that I was a family friend of this particular family, and as if by magic I got the most job.

Sorted.

The Open always pays really well- I live by Royal Birkdale + when it's on there everyone in the area between about 14 and 20 applies for jobs- we might not all be as lucky as Tednol, but the pay is pretty good whatever you do (+ it's a laugh because almost everyone doing the same kinda stuff as you is a smiliar age)- the young people (whose school gets closed because they use it for marquees) get the rubbish jobs like litter collecting, but there are better things like Tednol's and scoreboarding + stuff. I guess it's just a case of living in the right place (last time my friend's house was rented by Tiger Woods- but they weren't allowed to tell anyone until after- but we all kinda guessed because it was all so hush hush)

I work in a doctors surgery + that's pretty cool- i started off doin their filing after college + on a saturday morning, but now i do receptioning + get to cover everyone's summer holidays.

God I can't stand this waiting.

I'm still waiting to hear from

B&Q
Somerfield
Currys
CO-OP

and

Inland Revanue (Bad Spelling!)

My Mum has a friend who works there and she is trying to get a position delieving messages/post, making coffee etc. Crap and boring I know but the pay is excellent!

If I don't hear soon I'll scream!

Anyone know of any jobs going in Mid Glamorgan, Wales?
