AQA English Literature Unit 1 GCSE

So, the unit 1 exam is on Monday
I am doing Of Mice and Men and DNA

I don't feel very confident but I'll be happy with a C

what are your predictions for what will come up on Of Mice and Men and DNA?

Also, watch the of mice and men movie, that should help you. You can write about the tone of voice of when characters say certain things.

Good luck to me and everyone!! :P
I'm also doing OMAM and I've heard people say that Curley may come up. It was predicted to come last year and hasn't and since it hasn't came up it, this year may be the year. For DNA im not sure. Wanted also to ask if you could share some revision tips, because i have no idea what to do.

Yeh, my teacher also said curley is likely to come up

Yeh, absolutely, i'll try
First of all, make sure you structure your paragraphs correctly. Part a, aim to make 2 paragraphs whereas for part b, aim to make 1 paragraph
Structure them like this:
Point
quote
explain quite
what quote implies
embedded word
dictionary definition
what it implies
alternative
evaluation

Watch the movie, in the link in my first post. Or if you're really determined, listen to the audio book https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cd-0G5D18QM
This guy is also very good at helping you understand https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrF0fmC5MomEOqozdEOr7eg/videos
for each theme and character, select a quote. You'd be able to use any of those quotes for part b for sure!
don't waffle but get the blood out of the stone; ask why at everything you say and explain why you've said certain things.
