When I go for a haircut, I always generally always tip the hairdresser if they've done a good job. The last time I went for a haircut, gave the hairdresser a generous-ish tip (they were training at Francesco group and she did a good job so I thought she deserved it) and I could have sworn the woman at reception whom I paid (not my hairdresser) gave me a funny look... Funny thing is though, the same thing happened to my mum who went a week or so later...

I was just wondering if it was generally the custom to tip the hairdresser...? Or have I got it wrong. Do you tip your hairdresser?

Yeah! I usually give her about £10!
