Big Bang Theory Question help

I need help with the following:

1. Why is the Big Bang Theory Favoured over the other theories ?

Not sure- only that there is a lot of evidence supporting the big bang, more so than the other theories.

2. How will the universe end according to the big bang
theory?

As there are a number of possible theories about how the universe will end I don't know which one is according to the big bang theory. Is it 'the big crunch' ? Not sure.

What's the level and number of points available for this question?

if you need examples of evidence supporting the big bang, Hubble's law and CMB are important pieces.
