I'm currently doing a BSc in zoology and want to change to a masters. for the masters we have to do a project but the zoology tutors at my uni seem to only be interested in phylogenetics and molecular stuff,, whereas i prefer ecology and behavior type stuff. we can either let them assign projects for us or come up with our own, the only thing is i have no idea of what to do for my project. Could any one who has done or is doing a masters in zoology gove me some ideas please? thanks.

You need to have a look at what you've studied so far and think of what interests you. Then start reading around the area to find out what has been done already and think of how you can build on it. Then identify potential supervisors who can help you to develop your ideas and shape them into a realistic project with the budget and time frame you have.
