Anyone doing this exam? If so, how is it going?

I'm struggling with the 12-mark source and the regular 24-marker.

I'm resitting this having done atrociously the first time. For me, it's not so much the answering questions that I struggled with last year, it was more than I procrastinated revision too much and was so bored by the content. I've only just starting revising properly but I feel loads more confident than last year tbh.

I've only just started too. Look like I need to cover the whole syllabus in four days. Eep.

To be honest, you don't need to.
Just write a perfect answer for each of the topics, and remember that essay.
    Do your 24m questions first

    Good luck everyone!

Q3 on this paper asks why Stalin supported Socialism in One Country.

Q3 on this one asks why the Soviet regime followed the policy of rapid industrialisation, which is basically the same as FYPs.

I have to say, I seriously prefered the other unit! Does anyone have any idea about what questions could come up?

One topic that hasn't come up since June 2011 is Stalinism with propaganda and as this is the last year for this spec, I'm extremely worried that this could up as a source question.
Other than that, teachers at my school have predicted industrialisation could come up, since it hasn't come up for a while and maybe rise to power

For future students that may do this as a mock, I'm helping you out here -
    SOURCE: Views on Stalin.
A = Lenin's sister, says Stalin and Lenin were close
    B = Trotsky, 1932, critices Stalin
1A) how do the views differ in relation to stalin
1B) to what extent was stalins rise to power in 1929 due to his rivals underestimating him. Use all sources (forgot what C was,but I think it was from Robert Service)
    I did question 3
3a) Explain why the focus was on heavy industry in the five year plans
3b) 'Collectivisation was highly beneficial for the USSR' - to what extent do you agree.
    2a) An NEP question
    2b) Something on Stalinism

2b) "By 1941, Stalinism dominated all aspects of life." Explain why you agree or disagree.
