Ok so two years ago I decided it would be a great idea to do graphics for gcse. I was so wrong. Anyway, now I have an idiot for a teacher, who just ASSUMES I got a B on my exam without actually checking the grade boundaries. I checked them myself and it says I got an A* but I'm still not sure. Did anyone here do the WJEC graphics exam recently and got an A* on it? Is it even possible??

My teacher used percentages to determine the grades we got for our mocks and i also wanted an A* but the highest i ever got was an A. I checked the actual UMS conversion an it turns out i got an A* for my past 2 mocks, even though i was given an A and B. It is possible to get an A*!! Wjec just makes everything very confusing but if u get an A* for the coursework and a A* for the exam you will get an A* overall. You only need like 80/120 for an A* I think. If you use this website https://www.wjecservices.co.uk/MarkToUMS/default.aspx to get an idea of your rough UMS points for coursework and exam, and ur UMS is 180+, thats an A* overall.
How was your exam ?? I hope i helped!!

Yeah, thats exactly what happened to me, and I saw the boundaries online but I just wanted to check if the website is right. It has to be right, but i dont know why I'm still hesitant.
