Remembering psychology essays
I really don't understand how we are expected to remember all the different names of studies. Over 4 topics it comes to a ridiculous amount of studies. My question is do we actually have to remember the names. For example if i said in the exam "research has shown....." would i loose marks for not using the name??
No.
You do not have to remember names or dates. However, the examiner will probably be more likely to credit more relevant material (give slightly higher marks) simply because the examiner would otherwise have to spend time identifiying what study it was exactly to ensure your points aren't off-topic/unfocused.
