# Getting an A* for maths A level edexcel watch

1. I'm really confused. In understand you need to get 90% average across C3 and C4 in raw marks (or is it ums?). But I'm also doing M1... Does the ums of M1 contribute to getting the A* or is it only the core modules?

You need a total ums of 480 from the 6 units that includes a combined ums of 180 from C3+4

only c3+c4 average must give you 90 or more. If thats not achieved say goodbye to that A*
