    I have done part a, to which I have done part a which is :

    64 + 192y + 240 y^2 + 160y^3

    I know you let y = x - x^2, but how do you expand and simplify.

    64 + 192y + 240 y^2 + 160y^3

    As Jai Sandhu has mentioned you just sub y = x - x^2 into your expansio in part (a). From there you just expand normally, and apply the binomial expansion again for x^2 and x^3 coefficent and then times by the number outside. Then you just simply.
