    Hi,
Starting college in September and I was just wondering what the best way to prepare for each subject I'm taking was
I hope to become a film studies lecturer in the future so my most important subject is film studies.
I am also going to be taking media studies, philosophy and English literature.
    Thanks for any responses

Honestly - don't. Just enjoy the summer while you can. Maybe read a book or something but honestly you don't really need to.

Like the person above me said - enjoy your summer.
But make sure you take enough time before your course starts to get everything prepared such as stationary and stuff. Get yourself some folders and really prepare for the new year. My advice is that when you get taught something make sure you go home and learn it. Yes, it's annoying and boring most of the time but it'll be worth it for when exams come as you won't be cramming the whole year into a week or so.
Best of luck, film studies sounds very interesting

With that subject set there is next to nothing you can do except read a couple of books.
