Hi, first post so go easy on me haha!

Can someone please help me with this, I am studying a Business and IT course in uni and I am in first year. My problem is I am really struggling with a module I am studying, It is Java programming. I applied for this course last year and was given the 6 modules that I would be studying and this was not one of them, this was the reason I chose it over Computer Science. Due to the module structure If i fail this exam, I will first year, does anyone have an opinion on whether the university can do this since I never signed up for this module when I applied for this course!

    Thanks
    Mike!

Unfortunately it's almost certainly written somewhere that they can substitute different modules.

If you are struggling, you need to go along and see the relevant lecturer / tutor, but ultimately you will need to pass the module.

If you think the uni has acted improperly, then speak to your SU, but I can't see you getting anywhere with a complaint.
