    Hello guys,

I was just wondering - my uncle thinks he has Insomnia.
He is getting no sleep at all. His brain doesn't recognize that he is sleeping. He is saying that it causes him anxiety as he is saying 'When am I going to sleep?', 'I'm sleeping' when he is actually not sleeping. He is attempting to sleep, but it just doesn't occur. He now takes sleeping tablets to actually sleep. Is there anyway he could sleep naturally without medication, meditation or anything? Doctors have gave him a tablet called Zaleplon. This will help him to sleep otherwise he is unable to sleep. They recommend him to eat it only at night once, otherwise he will become addicted to it. He has tried reading a book, having a warm bath, drinking milk, natural medicine and chamomile tea. But, nothing is helping him.

He wants to find out a way to naturally sleep, is this possible?

Can you please help us find a natural cure to actually make him sleep?

I find a small carby snack a few hours before bed can help, like a scone around 8pm. Limit liquids as getting up to pee can disturb you. Valerian tea/mixture can be helpful. Low, soothing music can help the mind relax so he could put a CD on quietly while he's in bed. Absolutely no napping during the day, this is so important.

Insomnia is usually a reflection of an emotional imbalance. Is there something he's blocking out, is there a lot of stress in his life?
