Sometimes for a bit of banter I give my boyfriend a slap or two but today I got some ice cream on his shirt and he got mad so i pushed him a bit and started hitting his back but not too hard

Next thing i know a man pulled me away and threw me down on the floor so it hurt and then asked my boyfriend if he was ok?

    we left awkwardly after that

but why would the man do that? im a girl i dont think we can hurt men that much? is a few slaps from a girl really that bad? i understand if he was hitting me but im a girl?

    Double standards?
It clearly appeared to the outside that your were causing some anguish to the gentlemen you were with but he was clearly to proud to grip you for it. The man in question clearly is brave enough to contradict the social stigma that women can't hurt men and stepped in to perhaps diffuse the situation.

Maybe your boyfriend looks a little fragile too? Quite honestly I'd not allow you to hit me par a playful push ONCE. But then again I am a 220lb dude, you're slaps would tickle me.

Heads up to the man who dropped you though, not many men would have the morale courage to defend another man from a viscous woman attack. I think you need to stop hitting him, especially in public.

Laughter is infectious, so I would hope he nutted you right in the face afterwards. You know, for banter.

This made me laugh so hard.

OP it seems like your bf was already pissed from getting ice cream on his shirt and then you proceeded to hit him. I'm guessing it probably looked quite serious so the other guy stepped in.

Good on that man for stopping what he thought was abuse.. Few people would do nothing even if it was a man hurting a girl and a lot of people would do nothing if It was the other way round..
Just wondering if you was clearly joking did your boyfriend say anything to the man?

The man did the right thing. Don't be so surprised. Are you one of those annoying people who always playfully hits everyone?

My poor use of grammar and spelling or the fact that this b*tch would be in for a rough pounding when we got home
