Is anyone else doing Journey's End with OMAM tomorrow?

If so, how have you guys revised? I've written out the themes and scene summaries.

    I'm doing OMAM
I went through context, key scenes and quotes, came on here and just went through threads and helped people and I'm feeling more confident now because I know the book better than I thought I did
I also made mind maps of language terms in February but they've been lost to my clothes pile so they weren't much help

I'm doing Journey's End, all I've done is past papers, they've helped me a fair bit.

I'm doing the same as you! I'm just going to go over past papers and learn some fancy vocab to put in :') Can I ask what you've done for the themes?

    Courage and Cowardice
    - how humans cope with fear:
    Stanhope depends on drinking alcohol
Hibbert shows what fear can do to nerves/health

Sheriff helps audience to see how human can gain courage from others as well as using displacement strategies
    - humour
    - alice in wonderland (Osborne)
    - complaining about food.

    Heroism
    Ideas of heroism explored through:
    - Raleighs boyish patriotic myth of the 'hero' and the way he hero worships Stanhope
    - Stanhopes real fear that his status back home as a hero will be blown
    - Trotters bravery helps audience question own perception of what a hero is

    Trench Life/WW1
What soldiers do to pass their time under horrendous stress
    - Sheriff wanted audience to understand how tense and prolonged the waiting was and how it was an untold horror of war - create a subtle anti war message
    - Gives audience some reason to question those in authority (generals and politicians)

    Social Class
Social class determined a lot in 1910's
    - Sheriff wanted to show how war brought everyone together
    - Juxtaposing public school educated upper class with working class

    Community and Comradeship
    - How men survive as a community of individuals under extreme stress

Thanks for asking that! Haha going over that actually helped a bit.
    Best of luck tomorrow!
