hey im doing a2 ocr maths and i think im ok with revising the normal papers and stuff but
    I HATE THE COMPREHENSION
i just cant do it! i get so confused and apparently theres no way to revise it i think the problem is partially that sometimes it tests gcse knowledge and i did my maths gcse 3 years ago so that stuff is totally gone from my brain

does anyone have any tips? tricks? techniques?

in my mock i got 9/18. if id actually managed to finish it i may have gotten

Um... I dont know what to say. You should know everything from GCSE when you are in A level, it is assumed knowledge it is what almost everything you are learning is based on. The only thing I can think of it just practice papers.

yeah i know most gcse stuff is revisited but there still are some concepts ive forgotten. i remember doing a lot of work with percentages at gcse which were probably fairly easy in theory but i just havent seen them in a long time, and that sort of thing appeared in the mock and kind of threw me.

but ok. i guess there really is no knack to it. my teacher says its not even worth trying that many past papers.

I don't take OCR so I'm not sure what you mean by COMPREHENSION. You need to be solid on GCSE stuff for A-level.

ok well never mind then, yeah you can say that about gcses but there are actually gcse concepts that we have never revisited at A level so i think its kind of acceptable to be a little rusty in them

but anyways enough of this, there obviously is no answer so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
