    Hey guys, new member but long time lurker here, totally love what this website represents and how it's basically one big bedroom !

    Anyway, could someone in this section help inform me of the Paleo Diet ? I've been on it for about three weeks now and I haven't noticed any increases in miscle mass/density. A friend recommended it to my Aunt and I wanted to give it a shot.
    Am I doing something wrong or should I consult a nutritionist about my eating habits ?
    Any help or advice would be appreciated as I am also suffering from diabetes.

    I have been following paleo for quite a while now and have found it to be pretty effective - I also think it's healthier than a lot of other diets. It's no magic pill though and still requires a lot of work in the gym and eating the right amount of calories etc.

    By the sounds of it you are trying to build muscle? If you are and you are not seeing results then you should try upping our calories. Stay with paleo but increase how much you eat until you start to see some results (either in the mirror or on the scales). If you are trying to lose weight then do the opposite.
