Same here, but I'm not too worried. You probably won't fail, don't prepare to fail ! Also no it won't affect it.

Literature and Language are not the same, you get a separate grade for each.

For many, a language paper is probably the easiest.

It won't matter if you fail literature as it wont affect your language grade but its still better if you pass. Although i am in the same position as you right now. Exam tomorrow and can't focus. I’m sure you'll be fine though!

Hi, no they are 2 seperate qualifications. Also don't stress! Just do the best you can! Remember (if you are doing AQA) to just talk about how language/ structure and form help present ideas, themes and attitudes in the books. Also read reminders reports- it's the best way to get a jist of what they want from candidates. Good luck I'm sure you'll be fine!

For OMAM look for quotes relating to the themes of cowboy life, women, loneliness, racism, violence and dreams. If you're doing aqa find the quotes, analyse the language and explain it. Although I'm stuck on the characters as we didn't really do much on them in class

Yeah I'm **** scared too. This is probably my weakest subject. I've got a couple of questions. Do we take our own copies of the books in to the exam and also since the coursework file which is worth 40% consists of both literature and language assisgnments, does that cover literature and language both. For example, my coursework file of both language and lit is on an A. Does this mean 40% of my grade will be an A even though some of it was language?
