If a future archaeologist dug up Yamaha, Sony, Samsung, Nokia products, would he deduce that there had been a Japanese invasion into Britain at some point, and that the Japanese had colonised Britain?

And don't forget all the stuff from other countries, like the DNA of immigrants.
I think he would conclude that everyone invaded everyone else and the world had fallen in utter chaos.

"We've discovered millenia old artifacts that show, during simpler times, we all lived together in peace and harmony. Weapons of mass destruction were reduced, everyone lived where they wanted, and as you can tell today all races started procreating together in equality.
If only we could go back to these peaceful times of shared learning and continued advancement, our race would not be about to be killed by our red giant sun.
Gods bless communism. And Gods have mercy on us all."
- President Zych Camson of the People's Democratic Republic of Earth, 5,036 A.C.

Not necessarily, as they have archaeological evidence of extensive trade between Britain and Rome pre-conquest, and between Roman Britain and Ireland, but they know when Britain was conquered and that the Romans never conquered Ireland.

With the records we keep today, this is very unlikely.
Part of the issue with so much of history is lack of accurate data.
