Yes.

What cause of action (civil) or criminal offence would be brought against them, then?

k

let's kill all builders bar 2 and lets see if those 2 pick up the aggregate wages for the rest

They wouldn't pick up aggregate wages, but because there would only be two builders left in the world, they would be able to demand a massive premium for their services.

Immigration is a good thing if its targeted to specific job shortages, but the open mass immigration policy is just saturating the job market and everyone is suffering because of it.

I think average applicant for every job is well over 50 in UK. Thats not healthy competition, but deliberate saturation so companies can get people on cheap.

There's limitation factors ... no one will be willing to pay 50k for a builder regardless of the labour supply

Everyone? Definitely not, that's far fetched. I would go so far as to say the majority are benefiting from it. The poorest probably, but anyone with household earnings above 50k should be delighted from the effects of immigration.

You're identifying a wider British problem that immigration is indirectly fixing - low fertility rates and population gaps after the Baby Boomer generation are putting the UK economy on death row.

It's definitely not healthy competition if you base it on age, but that's hardly a proper measurement. Immigration is completely necessary if the UK is to remain with such low fertility rates.

Its difficult to have conservations with someone who cannot distinguish between sensible immigration policy and the mass/binge immigration of the UK currently.

Immigration is still technically immigration regardless if 1 person immigrates, or a billion people immigrate. But, obviously, the two numbers are going to dramatically change the effects of immigration.

Mass/binge immigration, is a symptom of a society addicted to cheap labour and low wages. its a serious problem. As for importing massive populations from third world to prop up welfare state in the short term, this is a ponsi scheme which is simply not sustainable, because you will always need ever greater amounts of immigrants to service the previous wave of immigrants.

It's difficult to have conversations with someone who cannot distinguish between emotions and facts. Immigration is a very emotional thing, and is therefore the debate is not run on economic facts but on feelings.

Immigration on this scale was very much needed for most lower paid jobs for most businesses and not needed for most poor people. There is no "answer".

What is "sensible" is also subjective.

Are you that stupid? immigrants do not take jobs because they are more skilled, it's because they are willing to work longer hours for below the minimum wage.

Thats not true and true that means that they are better at the job no matter how long they work for
