Applied for wrong grant, please help

I have just submitted my Student Finance application but where it asked for whether I wanted a maintenance grant or Special Support Grant I selected Special Support as I one of the boxes said to select it if you receive housing benefit and I CURRENTLY do. However, now I realise it was only if you will be receiving housing benefit AFTER you begin studying which I can't imagine i will be.

It says send us your Special Support Grant (SSG) evidence but nowhere I can change it to a apply for a maintenance grant instead.

Is there a way I can cancel this and apply for a maintenance grant instead?

TL;DR - Applied for SSG instead of Maintenance grant, how do I cancel and change?

I'd genuinely appreciate someone taking the time to answer this for me because I'm lost. Thanks.
Hi there.

If you don't supply evidence of the SSG you'll automatically be assessed for the MG instead. Just disregard the requests for evidence and this will eventually be changed.
