The law exam is tomorrow. I thought we could use this thread to clarify things and test our knowledge. If anyone is unsure about anything, from Civil courts to Sentencing then please post.

Also, what cases are people remembering for reference?

Hi mate,

Doing this exam tomorrow. My main stength is ADR, any predictions to what will come up?? Also, it seems like police powers comes up every year, is this always the case?

So..

for stop and search- Osman v DPP (lawful search, name station and reason for search)

Bibby v Chief constable of Essex police- Common law power of arrest- 4 conditions

Yeah, and sentencing. I quite like ADR. Apparently it wont come up though
