either...not sure which one i want to go for yet

Cambridge for me
Probably Robinson - I want an ensuite, not bothered about bricks, lower than average applicants to places ratio for my subject, got a couple of guys I know there, their own theatre and a drama group that do plays and musicals, supposedly friendly and unpretentious (and with a decent bar so I'm told but I'm not too bothered about that ).

Trinity Hall also seems nice. I want to look around at least these two before I make my mind up .

If you don't look at Trinity I will be insulted.

LOL you won't be there though! Okies, try and convince me to go to Trinity and I'll think about coming to visit

You can have my room.

I don't know whether to be honoured or disturbed

Plus I don't want people to think I'm arrogant

I don't think you are at all {hugs} You're an honorary Scot and Scots aren't arrogant.

The all important question is: Is your room en-suite?

Trinity has just bumped up a few places in my estimation.

Right:

what's the food like and what colours are the college scarves?

I am very picky about food so I am not the right person to ask (I am a wannabe Jamie Oliver and usually cook for myself! ). I think Hall food has its ups and downs.

This page has the scarf colours:

anglia polytechnic? is that cambridge's "brookes"?

Sounds like you'd be the right person to ask then. I'm pretty fussy myself, not a meat and two veg. kinda girl really. And I'd prefer to cook for myself, but I get the impression that's not really done at Cam.

Thanks for the help shiny  I'll head off and ponder it some more

I got a nice room you'd like it.

I'm not really arrogant :frown:

Bet mine is nicer

And I didn't really look at Trinity, apart from being whisked round by my cousin saying "Trinity. Big and scary, don't go there."
Depends on the subjects.
PPE or E&M: University College,Oxford (got some guys I know there)
Economics: Trinity College,Cambridge (rich,famouse,huge...have a friend in it),or Robinson College,Cambridge(lovely red buildings,very quiet,near the library).

Aw man! You're not even going to consider Sidney? That's... that's breaking up the team.

( Robinson has ensuites? What's the catch? )

Hi Everyone,
Im Considering St Peter's For Medicine Because Its A Small Central College And I Like It! Can Anyone Tell Me What The Oxford Aussie Rules Football Team Is Like Because That Is One Of The Main Sporting Attractions For Me At The University.

On A Different Note, Has Anyone Ever Been To Havana And If You Have Can You Tell Me What Its Like There?

Why is Trinity "scary" I have never understood that?

Because I am (well, was) quite shy, and came from a small school, so to be put in a college with 1000 undergrads or something would have just overwhelmed me - talk about little fish in big pools! Plus it's very large and imposing, with a reputation with it. Clare is much like me

1000 undergrads + postgrads. 1000 undergrads would be very scary.

 what happened to your 3,000 posts! Another thread must have been deleted.

I know, I was quite sad. But got it back now.

how can you find this out? i have looked on several of the cam websites but can't seem to find it.. maybe I am not looking hard enough or in the right places..
One of the reasons I chose to apply to Trinity at Cambridge was that it was big! I'm too well known in my high school which has more students than Trinity (probably twice as many) for being a swot (even though I'm not).
