In terms of the arms race and space race do we need to know the entire timeline of events or do we focus on Deterrence/MAD

I don't think you need to know the entire timeline in great detail, but a rough idea of the main points would be good. I doubt we'd get a question entirely based on that, but it might be something useful to bring up during an essay question or something like that

Deterrence/ MAD.

I doubt you will need more than one or two points from the actual arms race...
