for my a2 coursework i recreated craik and lockharts levels of processing experiment and got good results. well, i was told to use the related t-est but in my report i have to state why i used it. why would i have used that one instead of others? cheers.xx

no ones got a clue.
Alevels all about giving detail so others understand.
I fink your talking about Biology A2 Coursework, but i know dat coz i done the coursework.
But what your asking is very unclear....so das all i can say for now.

I think the t-test is to compare 2 or more results to see if there is any relation between them ie. whether your results are due to random variation or there is an actual pattern. Have no idea if that helps but there u go.
