Hi,

I'm having trouble understanding how the phase relationship between X and Y / X and Z is 180 degrees and 0 degrees respectively:

To me it looks as if X is definitely not at maximum amplitude, so I'm unsure whether I am missing some information about phase relationships with standing waves?

Thanks

Still confused with regards to this, can anyone explain? Mark scheme says X & Y are 180 deg out of phase.
Cheers
