Hi can you please show me how to work out question 1bii

using my calculators i keep getting 4.50 which is apparently not the answer

Okay, in your calculator, you need to enter the table given. You also need to include the two extreme values. When you do this, you will get the answer required. However, you need to input the midpoints on the figures that have a range. Then just use your calculator to find the mean.

For standard deviation, you will be using the table with the extremes again. However, just use the standard deviation function which will generate an output of 4.217...
