I have attached a question I'm stuck on, how do I find N?

Hi bethygirl

n is the gradient. When you plot the values in the tables, work out the gradient and this will be the value of n.

You have the equation log10y = n log10x + log10a. As this is a straight line, it is in the form y = mx + c, where m is the gradient and c is the y-intercept.

log10y = n log10x + log10a
y = m x + c

Comparing the two gives log y as y, n as m, log x as x and log a as c. So the gradient of your graph is n, and the y-intercept is log a (a will be 10c)
