Calculating gravitational field strength - Check my working please? :)

The problem I was given:
"Calculate the gravitational field strength at 500km above the surface of Mars
Mass of Mars: 6.39 x 10^23 kg
Radius of Mars: 3.39 x 10^3 km "

1. I added 500km to the radius of Mars: 3.89 x 10^3 km
2. I converted this to metres: 3.89 x 10^6 m
3. Using g = GM / r^2, I did:

(6.67 x 10^-11) x (6.39 x 10^23) / (3.89 x 10^6)^2

= 2.82 N/kg

Is this correct? I'm a complete physics noob and will love whoever helps out. Thanks in advance!
Yes because gravitational field strength is Fgravitational / mass and equation for Fgravitational is GMm/r^2 @Aivicore
