i had an interview yesterday... it was a bit weird because the most he asked me about english was what book i'm reading right now.. the rest of the time he kept going on and on and on about their course and what it involves! Then he asked me where else i've applied, and the ending note was a discussion about celeb big brother :s-smilie:

LOL i think i must have had the same person as you because my interview also ended up with us talking about celeb big brother :p:

Was impressed by the uni, it really is massive

One thing i didnt see though was any sort of gym/sport centre....Anyone know if there is one about on campus ?

thanks
gym and some indoor facilities and a big area for sports. surprised you were never shown this.

i'm applying for Hispanic Studies and Economics

it may be useful to contact the department if you're worried, you may find that there is no interview. i emailed a lady from the Hispanic Studies Department and she said:

"Many thanks for your email regarding our Open Day on Wednesday 28th February. You will not have an interview in Hispanics Studies (my department)..."

who knows?

Even if you have one its nothing to worry about, its really easy i actually quite enjoyed the day
Could anyone offer any info on the interviews? I have mine on the 28th. I have an idea of the types of questions, but I don't know if the interview will be conducted in English or German like some other uni's have done.

Its very casual, they just asked me a few questions on stuff i mentioned in my personal statement. So they may do the same for you, if so then it'll be in English, its not like an exam or anything
Ahhh right okay. Ta :smile:That's good then, as I've been asked a few of those before.
Damn. I prefer them when they're partly in German!
Well that was a pretty good interview! And some of it was in German. Yay!
