If you want to be extremely close to your campus, I'd say choose Kendrick Student Village, literally right next to it.
Benyon, Sherfield, Mackinder, St George's and Wantage are all great to London Road Campus in terms of walking. Wantage is literally about 3 minutes up the street. Like someone said above, Kendrick halls are right next door to the campus - you could go from your room to your lecture in about 10 seconds, HOWEVER these are privately run accommodation and are quite pricey. Also, because they're private halls, Kendrick aren't always included in Freshers' Week events etc and it's a ball-ache to walk to the library on Whiteknights to do your assignments; it would take you a good 25 minutes to get there. I lived in Benyon and I could power-walk to London Road in about 10 minutes, and to the library on Whiteknights in about 15!
