Hey guys,

I can normally do hess' cycle's, but I've come across a question which I have no idea how to approach:

http://www.ocr.org.uk/Images/78566-q...-resources.pdf

Q3 b) ii)

How do you use enthalpy changes for whole equations?! Any help would be much appreciated!

The question basically does it for you.

Look at the difference between the species either side of an arrow and cancel out common terms.

Then match the equation you are left with to the given equations to get the enthalpy change.
