Loughborough Uni Boy:Girl Ratio

Firmed Loughborough because the course is well suited to me and the facifilities and campus seems great. Though, from a male perspective, a ratio of 60:40 (male to female) seems quite extreme compared to other uni's. Is it very, very noticeable on nights out in clubs and the union....completely full of boys.... a "cock fest"? Boys... does it affect your experience?

Genuinely serious question btw... someone shed some light

I heard that It can be noticeable when your actually in your course based lectures depending on what you study but nights out aren't an issue and it's not noticable at all unless you really look for it.

On my business course there are definitely more boys than girls and it is noticeable - I'm not single but my friends who are single assure me that there are loads more boys out than girls on nights out, make of that what you will. Hope this helps!

I personally found it noticeable on my course (Physics) but not as noticeable when socialising or in societies in general. I know that Engineering (heavily skewed towards boys) and English & Drama (vice versa) occasionally hold joint socials to remedy this ^_^
