Any which involve a skirt that comes up to your chest, with a lining that never seems to go right. Couple that with a purple shirt with orange checks and you're in business.

Yes, I'm looking at you Mr. WHSmith.

Although I think I'd rather that than easyJet's uniform. Mmmm orange.

I like my works uniform, black tshirt, but horribly high wasted black trousers, but the shirt is so long you cant really tell lol.

Sainsbury's uniform is horrid.

Reply 3

I worked at WHSmith and the uniform was fine.
Shirt and black trousers = fine!

Did a Google search and this thread was one of the results. Enjoy!

Aaah this means you didn't have to endure the chest-height skirt! I thought I was really fat when I first started working there, as what was normally my size wouldn't do up. Then I realised... Plus the lining was perhaps the most complicated thing to work EVER! The blue shirts are a lot nicer than the old purple ones too, I suppose. But yeah, that skirt will forever haunt me :p: Still, there are definitely worse!

Haha! No, I could wear black or grey trousers or my own skirt  Only problem with shirts was one of the buttons kept coming undone so I had to wear a tshirt underneath unless I wanted the shoppers to see my bra!

Thinking about it, the full time staff there had old uniforms and they were hideous! Too right.

Reply 6

Oh god, had exactly the same problem with the shirt! Never good when your boss is a bit of a perv as well!

Reply 7

Ha! My boss was actually decent, said I was one of the best Saturday people he'd ever had when I left and gave me the latest Little Britain series on DVD

i think its homebase that bright green

I vote that mine is the worst. I work in a local supermarket where i live and i have to wear this aweful light pink dress that comes to halfway down my calf, then a darker pink tunic over the top. The material is gross aswell, being ever so slightly shiny. It's also about 4 sizes too big for me which does not help :p:

Morrisons uniforms without a doubt! Feel sorry for anyone that works there!

Mine wasn't too bad. I just had to wear a suit or black trousers & shirt.

I like my uniform!

We're allowed to wear jeans but have to wear a black top (even if its a different colour top underneath teamed with a black cardigan)... and any coloured shoes/accessories.

Pretty good for House of Fraser!

The worst has got to be Easyjet...

I don't hate my uniform that much....Combat trousers in baige and a nice coloured green polo shirt and fleace  Its really not that bad.

In my old job I had jeans and black top which was easy but I found I hated going out in jeans and black top unless it was for work.

I think my brother must have the best uniform...A John lewis suit  lucky lad!

i whole-heartedly agree.

i'm a morrisons checkout person. the worst uniform possible. maroon & flowery is so not my thing. as for bodywarmers, don't even get me started!

try working in a bakery.

With a dress type thing which has popper buttons all the way up the front and like to open at various times like serving somebody or sweeping up.

I feel sorry for people who work in supermarkets, the uniforms are not the best, i think they are designed with older people in mind. The Tesco one always looks ok though!! Better than the bright green asda one.

People who work in poundland though I presume they have a horrible uniform, and my friend used to work at the Co-op and always complained about navy blue trousers.

I used to work at a nursery and had to wear a bright green T-shirt, but I always managed to get away with wearing a black or white top, as I only worked part time (after school) and was well liked by the owner as well as the parents so I got away with it.

At the moment though I am enjoying that I will never have to wear a uniform again! At Topshop we just get to wear the latest fashions which I love, and we get uniform allowence every three months were we get 75% off a certain amount of items! DEFINETLY the best uniform!

Yeah it's something about supermarket uniforms. I work in Waitrose and it's pretty hideous. Not too bad for the guys, just trousers and green shirt and tie but the girls have to wear either really high waisted long skirts or baggy, shapeless trousers with a green and white, long, horrible-patterned old-woman blouse. Lovely.

I get to wear jeans and a grey shirt for work. Fine in winter but when summer comes it'll be interesting.

Morrisons uniform is awful though, and sports shops are pretty terrible...
