Southampton or UCL for Electronic Engineering?

So I just got an unconditional offer from Southampton and I was was wondering what to put as my firm choice. I am aware of the fact that Southampton is considered to be having the best EEE department in the country etc. Which one do you think would be better in terms of graduate prospectus, research and teaching? I am kinda stuck between the two because of UCL's prestige and the fact that I wanted to go there from the starting. Also, I want to study nanotechnology in the later years at uni. Which one would be better for this? Thanks!

Not sure if you've seen these but one of the EE lecturers at UCL has uploaded a couple of videos of the department. There seems to also be a specialist nanotechnology group at UCL which you might consider joining if undergrad goes well and you're still interested in the topic.

I think UCL seems great (reputation with employers wise). Also, having attended sixth form in London I'd say it would probably be the more interesting location of the two to study if you can afford it!.

I'm hopefully heading to University of Strathclyde (in Glasgow) for EE and digital systems simply because they have very strong links with industry, and I'd also like to try living in a new city.

Let me know how it goes

Best of luck!
