I'm a student from Northern Ireland and wondering what it's like studying nursing at LJMU? I'm considering going to Liverpool for uni, but I'm not sure what it's like for placements? Will I have to travel far to different placements??

Hi, hope this reply isn't too late. Liverpool is a fantastic place to study at university, whether it be Liverpool John Moores, Liverpool Hope or University of Liverpool. I think John Moores is the best of these universities for more vocational courses, such as construction, engineering, sports or health/nursing. I've met a few people who have studied nursing courses at LJMU and thoroughly enjoyed, and promptly found good employment with a strong starting salary. Another good thing about LJMU is they have really strong links to help you gain work experience or a placement year, which will help massively when looking for your first job after graduating.
